DUBLIN SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.
2. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning on at 9:00 a.m., PDT March 14, 2024 through 4:00 p.m. on March 16, 2024 (the “Entry Period”) visit the Guinness Steak Jerky display at the Natural Foods Expo West, located at Hall E, booth 5453 where there will be a display for Guinness Steak Jerky, and scan the QR code provided on the Guinness Steak Jerky display with your smartphone or other device capable of reading a QR code. Scanning the QR code will take you to the registration site for the Dublin Sweepstakes. Follow the entry instructions that appear on your screen. Fill in all the required information. You may enter only once, no more than one entry per person is permitted. Use of any robotic, automatic, programmed, or similar entry method or entering more than the number of times permitted will void all entries and result in disqualification. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple e-mail addresses, identities, devices, or social media accounts in an attempt to circumvent the rules.
To successfully enter the Dublin Sweepstakes, you must take a selfie photo of the Guinness Steak Jerky display at Hall E, booth 5453, and the photo must include the Guinness Steak Jerky display and the full number shown on the clock that is part of the display (the “Entry Photo”). To win the Grand Prize, an Entry Photo must be posted to an account that you personally maintain on one of the following social media outlets: Facebook, Instagram, or X. You must post the Entry Photo before 4:00 p.m. PDT on March 16, 2024. A photo that is posted to a social media account as described above, before 4:00 pm PDT on March 16, 2024, and that includes a viewable photo of the Guinness Steak Jerky Display (including a legible and viewable clock time) shall be considered a “Completed Valid Entry Photo.” Tik-Tok is expressly excluded, and posting to Tik-Tok will not be considered a Completed Valid Entry Photo and will not be considered eligible for the winner to claim the Grand Prize.
At the time of entry, you will be required to provide your name, a valid e-mail address, phone number, and zip code and the time on the clock when you took the Entry Photo. Failure to provide all required information will invalidate any attempted entry. As explained in paragraph 8, we will use this information solely for the purposes of administering the Dublin Sweepstakes.
3. ELIGIBILITY: The Dublin Sweepstakes is open to residents of the 50 United States and D.C., except for residents of Florida, New York, and Rhode Island. Entrants must be 21 years of age and older as of March 24, 2024, to be eligible.
The following persons are not eligible to enter the Dublin Sweepstakes: Legal residents of the states of New York, Florida, or Rhode Island, employees of Sidari Artisan Brands ("Sponsor") or Diageo Ireland Unlimited Company, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies (collectively "Promotion Parties"), and members of their immediate family or persons living in the same household. The Dublin Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.
To be eligible to win the Grand Prize, the winner must meet all the above criteria, and must have posted a Completed Valid Entry Photo to an account controlled by the entrant on Facebook, Instagram, or X as described above.
4. DRAWING: A random drawing will be conducted on Monday, March 18, 2024, by Sponsor to select the winner from among all eligible entries received. The winner will be determined by a two-step process. First, the Sponsor will randomly select a winning time of day (“Winning Clock Time”) from all hours that the Guinness Steak Jerky Display was open to the public and accessible for participants to take Entry Photos. The “time on clock” information provided by entrants at the time of entry will be reviewed to identify any person that entered with a photo that showed the time that matches the Winning Clock Time. Within 48 hours of the drawing, the Sponsor will visit the social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, and/or X) of any participants that entered with the Winning Clock Time to confirm that a Completed Valid Photo Entry was posted to Facebook. The Sponsor may contact entrants for assistance in the confirmation process, and by entering the Dublin Sweepstakes, you consent to such communications. The Completed Valid Entry Photo must be viewable by Sponsor on the participant’s Facebook, Instagram, or X account at the time of verification for the entrant to be eligible to win the Grand Prize. Upon verification, the person that posted a Completed Valid Entry Photo (which must show the Winning Clock Time), will be declared the potential winner of the Grand Prize.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received, and the number of Completed Valid Entry Photos. The potential winner will be notified by e-mail at the address provided during the entry process or by phone. The potential winner must sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release within 30 calendar days of the date of notice or by such other date set by Sponsor. Failure to timely return an executed Affidavit of Eligibility and Release will result in forfeiture of prize and Sponsor shall have the option, but not the obligation, to award the prize to an alternate winner. The return of any prize notification as undeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of winner. By entering or attempting to enter this sweepstakes, the entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters.
It is possible that there will not be any successful entries if no entrant posts a Completed Valid Entry Photo in full compliance with these rules. If any aspect of the entry is not compliant with these rules, the entrant will not be declared the potential winner. If no one posts a Completed Valid Photo Entry during the entry process in full compliance with these rules, then no winner will be declared, and Sponsor shall be under no obligation to any entrant. It is also possible that more than one potential winner will be identified--for example, two or more people could post a Completed Valid Entry Photo with the Winning Clock Time in full compliance with these rules. If that occurs, all potential winners will be entered into tie-breaking drawing, and the ultimate Grand Prize winner will be randomly drawn by the Sponsor from the pool of potential winners that posted a Completed Valid Entry Photo showing the Winning Clock Time, in full compliance with these rules.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By entering this sweepstakes, entrants waive all right to, and hold the Promotion Parties harmless from, any claim, liability, loss, damage (including punitive, incidental, and consequential damages), or expense (including attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with participation in this sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of any prize. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. Promotion Parties will not be responsible for: late, incomplete, or incorrect entries; an entrant's failure to receive prize notices due to entrant's spam, junk e-mail, or other security settings or for entrants' provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information; technical, hardware, or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled, or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or used in this sweepstakes; by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes; or any typographical, technological, or other error in the publishing of the offer, administration of the sweepstakes, or announcement of the Grand Prize. If, in the Sponsor's opinion, there is such an error, or there is any suspected evidence of tampering with any portion of the sweepstakes, or if technical difficulties (including viruses and bugs) compromise the integrity of the sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or modify this sweepstakes. In the event a dispute arises as to the identity of a potentially winning entrant, entries will be declared made by the name, e-mail address, and social media account indicated during the entry process.
6. GRAND PRIZE: There will be a maximum of one (1) Grand Prize awarded in connection with the Dublin Sweepstakes. The Grand Prize will enable the winner to travel to Dublin, Ireland for a two-night stay and to visit the Guinness warehouse while visiting Dublin. The Grand Prize includes a Gift Voucher from Aer Lingus in the amount of one thousand four hundred dollars ($1,400.00). The Grand Prize also includes a Hotels.com Gift Card in the amount of six hundred dollars ($600.00). The Grand Prize also includes a prepaid debit card in the amount of five-hundred dollars ($500.00) which can be used for any legal purpose, (including but not limited to pay income tax that may be assessed to the winner). The Grand Prize also includes two Guinness Storehouse Entry Tickets for the standard (regular) tour of the Guinness Storehouse in Dublin, Ireland. The Aer Lingus Gift Voucher, Hotels.com Gift Card, and Guinness Storehouse Entry Tickets are subject to the issuer’s respective terms and conditions, including any restrictions on use. Total Grand Prize value: $2,560.00. The Grand Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize above. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted by winner. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. If a potential winner is disqualified for any reason, Sponsor may award the Grand Prize to another potential winner by random drawing from among all remaining eligible entries that posted a Completed Valid Photo Entry in full compliance with these rules. If a valid potential winner cannot be identified, or no valid potential winner timely returns an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release, the Grand Prize will not be awarded.
7. CHOICE OF LAW AND FORUM: Entrant agrees that all matters arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes and these Official Rules are governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to any of its conflict of laws provisions thereof. The Entrant further agrees that any legal suit, action, or proceeding arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be brought exclusively in the applicable federal or state courts located in Cleveland, Ohio.
8. PRIVACY: Information submitted with an entry is subject to the following Privacy Policy: In connection with the entry process, Sponsor will collect first and last name, an e-mail address, a phone number, and a zip code that is included with the entrant’s entry. This information will be collected and used solely for the purpose of selecting and contacting the prize winner, and to the extent necessary to enable the winner to claim and utilize the Grand Prize. Sponsor will not disclose the collected data to any other person or entity, except to the extent necessary to enable the prize winner to claim and utilize the Grand Prize. To the extent any person makes a lawful request to Sponsor to identify the winner, the winner’s name may be disclosed to the person that makes such a request, to the extent the Sponsor is required by law to provide such information. Any data collected will be used solely for the purposes described herein, and for no other purpose.
